Sats

Guess what! SATS started on may 13th ( my birthday ). Great treat isn't it... I was entered for level six at everything. I had to do double what everyone else did. Unfair! On Monday, my birthday, we had the reading SATS and for me and some others we also had the level six reading SATS in the afternoon. On the bright side, we got biscuits. Tuesday was grammar and spelling. We did the same in the afternoon but for level six. Wednesday we did mental maths and paper A. Thursday was paper B, paper one and two. The last two were level six. What a great week! Huh?

Hough Time

On the weekend, including Monday, my family and I travelled for over seven hours. It took us three hours to get to and from Wellingborough. However, it was worth it. When we arrived at our aunty AJ's and uncle Richard's I was amazed. They had hired a humongous bouncy castle and a hot tub!!! It was like heaven...

Ark of the Covenant!

Today, after church, Mum, Dad and I played Ark of the Covenant. I had never played this game before so needed a little help. At first, I was winning. Then both Mum and Dad scored 52 points ( making them go round the whole board at once)! In the end, I had the biggest field although Mum joined me during the middle part of the game. That means that we both scored the 40 points, unfortunately. I put hard work into creating that field. It contained 22 sheep (each worth 2 points) and 2 wolves (which eat 1 sheep each)! Finally, the game finished. I came third, last. I was disappointed but it was my first try at that game...

Fun at fair!

First of all I went on showtime with Jenna. We went around in a hamster wheel and were turned by spinning platforms. It was a good start to our day. Then I went to crooked house. There the stairs were tilted almost vertically. That was followed by the screamer. Thankfully I was sat next to Amber's friends. Throughout the ride i was jolted from side to side. However it all ended with the Sizzler. It went at a really fast speed. Now that's the story of my fun time at the fair!

Grammar Grammar Grammar!

I've passed the test for the Grammar School! I'm so excited. Shannon and Molly also passed the test. I'm now in my last term in year 6 (at Hill View Primary). We are now getting prepared for our last SATs tests. The first one is on my birthday! All we do now is work, revision then even more work! It's so boring. However, this last topic is supposed to be great fun. So far it is.  I have already seen and tried on some of the BSG (Bournemouth School for Girls) uniform. I quite liked it. The Grammar school is all I think about now. I can't wait to go to secondary school. It will be so much fun. :-)

Family Home Evening on The Sacrament

For family home evening, I did the lesson on how taking the sacrament helps you renew your baptismal covenant. I made a tray and square pieces for it. Each square has a bit of the prayers. Everyone took one, like sacrament, and shared what they thought.
